Remembering my modeling days, I removed the screws and used a drop of cyanoacrylate to harden the holes. This hardens the edges of the holes and makes the screws hard to rotate. I did not test if the CA attacks the foam but one uses only a drop or two that will remain and cure inside the fiberglass skin.
