I screwed the cowling (side flanges) to my wing rack for stability while working and drew the shape of the parts over it. I made a template with paper to cut styrofoam to size, I hot-glued it in sections over the cowling and shaped it with hand saws, knives,and sanding tools preparing it for microballoons.
